Michel Fais photographs the disinherited of Athens, the "householders of the open air". He also records the traces of their presence, "the signs of a chaotic, perverted household". Fragments of their space and a part of themselves contained within the frame: shoes, dolls' heads, graffiti on the walls. He constitutes and presents their "files", and asks what these signs afford us of the speleography of our future.
