Both index and icon, the photograph as re-presentation wavers between the real the imprint of the "having been there"-and its interpretation in or out of the frame the fantastic. This duality along with the different ways space and time are recorded or reconstructed within the confines of the photograph constitute its idiosyncratic narrative properties. The works in this exhibition endeavour to interpret the fleeting hallucinations and facts that form the rhetoric of the everyday.
